SUSI Partners evolves its senior leadership structure with Marco van Daele now leading the firm as sole CEO with the Leadership Team further comprising longstanding team members Richard Braakenburg and Alexander Hunzinger as Co-CIOs, and Adrian Lüönd as Head of Finance & Corporate Operations.

The updated setup reflects Marco van Daele’s increasing involvement and pivotal role in steering core functions over the last years. In their expanded roles as Co-CIOs, Richard Braakenburg and Alexander Hunzinger will retain their current portfolio management responsibilities while leading the formulation and execution of the investment approach across the firm’s OECD-focused strategies. To support continuity in investment assessment and underwriting, Marco van Daele will continue to chair the Investment Committees. Adrian Lüönd, who was previously Head Finance and Controlling, will now consolidate core operational functions including finance under his remit. The Leadership Team will be completed by a designated Head of Client Solutions, who will join the firm in the coming months.

After four years of supporting the company in its transition from a founder-led to a management-led business, former Co-CEO and Head of Clients Marius Dorfmeister, in accordance with his explicit wish, has relinquished his operational involvement and aims to focus on non-operational roles, including potentially at SUSI Partners (subject to the required regulatory and shareholder approvals). The Board has also agreed with Yves Frey, former Head of Corporate Operations, that he will leave the firm by the end of the year after longstanding service.

Jan Krüger, Chairman, commented: “On behalf of the firm, I would like to thank Marius and Yves for their valuable contributions to SUSI Partners. The new Leadership Team consists of experienced senior team members in a natural evolution of their respective profiles, and thus reflects both continuity and progressive development as we continue to pursue our growth ambitions.”
