SUSI Partners has become the latest member of the Bundesinitiative Impact Investing (BIII, Engl.: Federal Initiative for Impact Investing). The association serves as a central platform for advancing impact investing in the DACH region and internationally, bringing together asset owners, asset managers, intermediaries, foundations, and other stakeholders committed to mobilising capital for measurable social and environmental impact alongside financial returns.
Founded in 2019, BIII is dedicated to strengthening the impact investing ecosystem through research, advocacy, and collaboration. It facilitates dialogue among practitioners, supports knowledge sharing, and provides policy input to foster enabling conditions for impact-oriented capital. Through its activities, the initiative aims to accelerate the integration of impact investing principles into mainstream finance.
By joining the initiative, SUSI Partners seeks to further raise awareness of the value of combining attractive risk-adjusted returns with intentional and measurable contributions to climate and broader environmental and social development goals. The firm brings long-standing experience in investing in mid-market energy transition infrastructure across key sub-themes such as renewable energy, energy efficiency, energy storage, and electric vehicle charging solutions.
SUSI Partners is also supporting the establishment of a Swiss chapter of the Bundesinitiative Impact Investing. Together with Susanne Bregy, Managing Director of BIII, SUSI will host the first Swiss Impact Investing “Stammtisch” in Zurich on 11 September 2025 (12:00–14:00, Kraftwerk Zürich). This informal lunch gathering will introduce the activities of the Bundesinitiative, highlight current topics shaping the impact investing landscape, and offer participants the opportunity to connect and exchange ideas in a relaxed setting.
