Jen Phua has recently joined SUSI Partners to head the company’s distribution and client relations efforts across Asia-Pacific (APAC) markets. Based in Singapore, she will expand SUSI’s in-house client coverage to the growing institutional capital markets of the APAC region.
Jen Phua brings over 15 years of experience in infrastructure and energy investment, fund formation, and capital development in APAC markets. She joins SUSI from Macquarie Asset Management in Singapore, where she led institutional fundraising efforts for the company’s private credit initiatives in APAC markets. Prior to that, she held senior roles at EIG Global Partners, Canaccord Genuity, HSBC, and BNP Paribas.
SUSI Partners’ decision to build in-house client coverage capabilities for the APAC region reflects the increasing depth and maturity of institutional capital pools across many markets in the region. As investors in the region actively seek exposure to sustainable energy infrastructure, SUSI is positioning itself to directly engage with these investors and support their deployment of capital into this continuously maturing asset class. The firm expects its energy transition infrastructure offering – with dedicated strategies for OECD equity, OECD credit, and Asia – to resonate strongly with APAC allocators looking to participate in the global shift towards decarbonisation and energy security.
